What diets actually work? Instead of altering your diet overnight and eating a host of foods you don't like, try simply eliminating a few problem foods. If, for example, you are a fizzy drinker, switch to diet varieties, or better yet diet fruit drinks. And if you are a big fan of potato crisps, find a low fat alternative. Another good idea is to add more protein to your diet. Protein is more filling than carbohydrates and more of it may encourage you to eat less.
